Priority Healthcare was created in 1994 by Bindley Western Industries, Inc. to meet the needs of the alternate site, alternate care markets.

On December 31, 1998 Priority Healthcare spun off from its former parent company and established its corporate headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Since that time the company has grown at a tremendous rate and in November of 1999 it moved into its new state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida. The new facility is designed to meet the specific needs of our corporate offices and pharmacy operations. Our pharmacy capacity is tripled and the 46,000+ square feet of space gives us capacity for future growth while providing an excellent work environment for our associates and clinical professionals.
