The successful candidate will have strong communications and collaboration skills. Candidate should have knowledge of 802.11a/b/g or 802.15.x MAC layer specifications and be able to simulate the effects of protocol changes to these specifications. Job involves the application of MANET and other routing protocols to the MAC layer of wireless 802 standards.

Candidates with experience modeling wireless protocols in OPNET will be given preference. Communications and leadership skills should be strong.

Position: Manager, System Test

The selected candidate will be responsible for streamlining and enhancing software quality and testing procedures within the group. The candidate will be responsible for developing software quality metrics and problem report management. The ideal candidate should also have previous experience in software development process and in deploying software quality programs. The candidate will be expected to assess various testing tools and to develop testing standards for implementation across the group. The candidate is expected to train and mentor team members in use of scripts and automation tools. This is a hands-on position and will require the individual to participate in all aspects of testing. High level of customer interaction will also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in software quality and testing on network product
  • 3-5 years experience in developing and deploying quality assurance methods and procedures
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in data/voice communications networks
  • In-depth knowledge of IP protocols and networking products

Looking for an individual to support the design and integration of wireless network into existing networking infrastructure components and provide post deployment network support. Individual should have experience working in a team environment consisting of systems, hardware and software engineers. Position involves some travel to customer locations. Individual may also be requested to support on-site customer demonstrations, customer training and sales support activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in CS, EE, IT or equivalent experience
  • Experience in routing protocols, DHCP, DNS security, authentication in IP networks
  • Experience of field deployments, VPN setup and integration of new and existing networks
  • Strong experience in network design and network routing debug

Position: Product Manager (Tactical)

As Product Manager, you will guide the release of new products, features, and applications from design to release. You will manage new and existing products through the product development cycle to insure all aspects of the product are delivered on time and with the highest quality. You must possess a big-picture view, yet understand the impact of each sub-component on the system. Ultimately you must drive cross-functional organizations to deliver all aspects of new products into the market.

You will work with cross functional teams to provide the overall project plan to define deliverables, resource assignment and schedules of multiple projects/releases. Specifically focused on working with engineering to track assignments and release schedules for assigned projects. Identify and track deliverables for Test Engineering, Documentation, Training, Marketing, Manufacturing and Customer Service. The position will be responsible to participate in reviewing and generating release documentation and product collateral. The position will be responsible to insure the quality process is followed and recommend improvement to insure conformance to the corporate quality goals is achieved.

The Product Manager’s role is a tactical position, within the Product Management organization reporting to the Sr. Product Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the deliverables in development life cycle with tactical planning to beta testing through general availability (GA) and end of life
  • Specifying resource assignment per project and inter project dependencies
  • Driving a system solution set across multiple organizations to insure completeness and quality of all products

Position: Senior RF Design Engineer

Lead design engineer responsible for detailed design and implementation of complete miniaturized RF transceivers for wireless modems. This modem technology uses various digital modulation schemes and can operate from 900 MHz to 6 GHz (~ <1 watt). The candidate must also support manufacturing operations, hardware test and the regulatory certification process (FCC, ETSI, etc).

Responsibilities

  • RF design and architecture definition
  • Detailed RF circuit design including RF and analog filter design
  • PWB layout and design

  • Coordination of manufacturing operations to support small production runs and prototype development

Position: Software Engineer (Applications)

MeshNetworks is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to actively expand our application software development team in Orlando, FL.  The group develops network management and user applications for MeshNetworks revolutionary mobile ad hoc radio technology.  As part of this team you will be involved in developing leading edge applications for network management and peer-to-peer mobile platforms.

Specific duties will include following a product through from design conception to final validation and delivery.  This includes specification and documentation, design and development, and test and verification.  In addition to new product development, you will need to enhance and maintain existing product capabilities using Java and Microsoft C++ development tools.

Position: Systems Engineer

MeshNetworks is creating revolutionary new broadband networks. Mesh Advanced technology group will create the next generation of these networks. This group is tasked with defining the PHY, MAC and Routing layers of a new network for consistent broadband access.

As part of this effort MeshNetworks is seeking a Systems Engineer for Ad Hoc Networks. The position requires a graduate degree, class work in ad hoc routing protocols and/or MAC protocols, and 1 to 5 years experience (new grads considered).

Position: System Engineer, Communications

Position Description

Looking for an individual with three to five years experience in microcellular RF propagation, 802.11a/b/g physical layer specifications, 802.11 integration with other radio front ends and be able to analyze the effects of potential changes to all of these.

This person should be able to simulate multiple radio systems at the same time using Matlab or other simulation tool. Additionally, proven experience in analyzing the use of different antenna systems and interference mitigation in microcellular networks, including the use of multiple antennas and multiple receivers or transmitters.

  • Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (graduate degree preferred)

Responsible for development of wireless ad hoc network, link, and physical layer related technology. Specifically responsible for the architecture, creation, and maintenance of OPNET simulation models for the purpose of technology development in multi-hop networks. Responsible for algorithm research and protocol development. Other responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of engineering specifications, patent applications, and publications based on results of research and development. A successful candidate must have strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge in using a Opnet for network and link layer protocol development
